Project Objectives

  • Tabriz Oil Refining Company intends to complete and upgrade its existing isomerization unit. The unit processes hydrotreated light naphtha with a capacity of 12,530 barrels per day. Its primary objective is to increase the octane number of the feedstock and thereby enhance the quality of the final gasoline product. The feed stream, primarily consisting of pentanes and hexanes, is subjected to an isomerization process to increase its octane value. The upgraded unit will incorporate new distillation columns and optimize the isomerization process to improve gasoline octane rating and ensure compliance with fuel quality standards, including low sulfur, aromatics, and olefins content.
